I graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelors in Film Studies, with emphasis on Screenwriting from Yale University. My graduating GPA was 3.69 with distinction in my major. I have also received an Associates in English from Suffolk County Community College, with a graduating GPA of 4.0. I am a native English speaker.

Experience

I have tutored in AP Language and English Prep, and as a writing tutor for college entrance essays. Although my graduating major is Film Studies, I have taken multiple courses during my Undergraduate career pertaining to literature, such as narrative courses and literary theory. I enjoy helping others understand how to analyze literary works and improve their writing skills, which has led me to pursue tutoring.

My interests include writing for film, film analysis-- along with literary analysis-- and learning new languages. I am currently studying to learn Korean, while interning at a New York production company. I have a passion for writing and have completed a number of short stories, as well as a full-length screenplay. Please note that because I am studying Korean in South Korea at the moment, I am only available for online tutoring for locations outside of Seoul, South Korea
