I have 6 years of experience working as a teacher for a wide range of grades and levels ranging from middle school up to high school seniors. I have previously helped improve the academic outcomes of a grade 9 student who went from a grade of 65/100 to 90/100 in 3 months. I have taken many relevant university courses such as Calculus, Mathematical Physics, Classical Mechanism, Electromagnetism, Quantum Mechanics, Thermal Physics, Solid State Physics, and so much more. I would like to be a tutor because seeing my students make progress feels great, and I enjoy contributing to my students' development. I first started teaching as a volunteer at a local children's center as a university freshman. It felt great to be able to help students understand a subject they had been struggling with. Since then, I have been working at academies and doing private tutoring sessions alongside my volunteering.
Experience
I am currently completing a Ph.D. in Statistical Physics at Korea University in Seoul, Korea. I have also completed a bachelor's degree specializing in Physics at Konkuk University in Seoul, achieving a GPA of 4.19/4.5. In 2012 I was an exchange student at Murdoch University in Perth, Australia, and completed a Summer Studentship at the International Center for Radio Astronomy Research (ICRAR). I was previously a participant in the undergraduate research program in the Department of Astronomy at Seoul National University. In addition to this, I was previously an exchange student at HEIG-VD in Yverdon-les-Bains, Switzerland.
